What is Kittengarten?
Kittengarten is an interactive class designed to teach kittens and their owners how to develop healthy, positive relationships.
We will teach kitten massage and basic/agility training techniques and provide answers to common cat behavior questions.
Goals:
-to prevent common behavior problems -to develop appropriate play habits -to educate new kitten owners about proper cat care -to have fun!!!
Cost: FREE!!
Where: Lobby of Lexington Hospital for Cats
When: Dates and times to be announced. Sessions last from 1 to 2 hours Who: Taught by Dr. Alice Mills and the Lexington Hospital for Cats’ Veterinary Technicians and Assistants
Requirements:
- Kittens must have received their first upper respiratory/distemper vaccination
- Kittens must have been tested for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus/Feline Leukemia and be negative for both infections
- Kittens should be at least 12 weeks uld (no kittens over 6 months of age)
- All kitten owners must present proof of vaccination and testing
- All kittens must be brought in carriers
